In recent days we have talked to you on several occasions about furniture trends for 2018 and, after an overview of the styles in vogue and the most popular materials, the time has come to show you some design projects that perfectly embody the vintage and industrial spirit, paying particular attention to details, finishes and furnishing accessories.
The ones we’re going to show you are three design projects signed by the New Taipei studio Nordic that make simplicity and refinement their strong point at the same time. We will take you on a journey through the different rooms of the house by analyzing the many furnishing components and therefore providing you with a photo gallery from which you can inspire if you want to furnish a trendy home in the perfect encounter between vintage and industrial chic.
De Flore House project
Wide-ranging environments that perfectly marry the open space philosophy to connect kitchen and living room … here you will notice how the space has been divided in an ideal way through the installation of two different types of floors: entrance and kitchen are characterized by use of highly appreciated cement tiles while the living room is made even more warm and welcoming by the laying of an oak parquet.
The style chosen has markedly vintage features, which you can notice for example in the choice of sofas and coffee tables, but there is no lack of industrial elements such as chandeliers and lamps.
Team7 House project
Simplicity, innovation and style coexist perfectly within this second project that perfectly balances the different styles of furniture and becomes a perfect example of the hottest furniture trends of the moment. The living room is virtually divided between a relaxation area perhaps dedicated to reading and a living room, the TV cabinet placed in the center allows the TV to rotate in practically any direction and therefore to take advantage of the environment at 360 °.
Also in this case we find the retro cement tiles adorning the kitchen as well as the industrial chic elements that characterize the lighting systems, there is no lack of vintage elements that recall the 60s and the luxurious velvet upholstery.
String House project
A wall with exposed bricks, cement tiles to characterize the floor at the entrance and to customize the kitchen coverings, essential furnishings and particular refinement of details: this is our third example of trendy furniture capable of conquering at first glance.
